Becoming Your Best

I had the once in a lifetime opportunity to go to a press conference in Midway where Governor Herbert and the Shallenbergers spoke about leadership. Steve Shallenberger wrote a book entitled Becoming your Best filled with leadership council for the business world.

I had to try out the fancy camera.

Steve Shallenberger is an incredible leader. It was a pleasure to hear from him!



 We were so close to cutting a very small ribbon with very small scissors before this official equipment was brought out! It looks much more fancy this way.

We were very quick to sneak a picture with Governor Herbert before he left. What an incredible man!



Let's just pretend I spoke. I was actually going to perform the piano had there been one there! Oh well :)

After the conference, we were just talking outside the building right next to a carousel and a nice man came out and let us take a ride! It was a great way to end the day. That's not something you get to do everyday (ride a carousel in a crown with Miss Utah)! Especially riding side-saddle.  That took skill.

Memories being made right and left. I'm so grateful I was invited to be a part of such an incredible morning!
