Timpanogos Storytelling Festival

The royalty absolutely loved this one. Orem is often known for this Storytelling Festival and now I know why! I had never been before, but I was incredibly impressed with the talent of these performers. There were storytellers of various ages whom we got to watch perform. After all the storytelling was done, we got to hand out some awesome Krispy Kreme Donuts! We were kinda the grand finale and everyone loved us for it. :)

NINJA.

We distributed these donuts like pros! We also got to take a box home, which was a bonus.

As we walked around, we were amazed with the artsy talent all around us!

Puppet alert!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am certainly a fan of the events where the royalty all gets to stick together! We had fun in the few hours we got to explore this fabulous event.

Scera Concert and Movie Night

One of the greatest things about summer is the Scera Shell outdoor theater. They put on the greatest musicals and concerts in the world!!! In my opinion that is. I loved having the chance to attend many of these shows including the Kenny Loggins concert and the Herman's Hermits concert!

Anyone can see that Kenny Loggins has still got crazy amounts of talent!

My roommate Elayna, is the greatest for coming with  me. I love her :)

Yes, it was absolutely packed! Most of the people in this crowd were dancing the entire show!

Kim was also there! So was Emily and her date, they were sitting behind us on the grass. Emily had an awesome glow stick wrapped around her crown all night, she definitely stood out among the crowd!

It's a little hard to tell, but here is a glimpse of the Peter Noone/ Herman's Hermits concert. They were super awesome. I had honestly never heard of them before this night but I left as a new fan!

Movie Night
I would also like to insert a couple pictures from the outdoor movie night at the Owl's baseball field! This wasn't just any movie night, this was a night of tribute to Robin Williams. Many of Orem's citizens came together to celebrate his life and watch
the movie "Hook." The cool thing about this event was that Wasatch Mental Health brought some helpful information regarding mental illnesses and suicide prevention. What an inspirational night it was.

The Hope for Utah organization was very helpful with their information and support for suicide awareness. Because of their influence, I know of at least a few Jr. High Schools have adopted a Hope Squad to help prevent suicide in the schools. I love that :)
