This wonderful event was a night honoring two seventh graders from Jr. High schools from all around the valley. These kids are all great students and friends at their school and they surely deserved to be honored! The night started off with a motivational speaker (the man standing right next to me in this first picture) who gave a wonderful speech. His words encouraged us all to love ourselves! If you can love yourself, everything else will fall into place and you will be more able to love others. One thing I especially liked that he said was,
"You are great! But by being great, you have given up the right to be a bum."
